The perfect holiday cottage for couples and families
Riccal Dale Cottage is unique and cosy – with a four poster bed, historic old beams, and a log burner – perfect for a relaxing stay. The Yorkshire stone walls hark back to the cottage’s earlier use as a barn; look carefully and you’ll spot tiny fossils.
The cottage welcomes up to four guests and two dogs. Downstairs the open plan kitchen/dining area lead into the living room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (a four poster double bed plus two single beds). The bathroom was refitted with a new suite and wood panelling in 2024.
Outside there is seating in the courtyard garden, a BBQ area and a picnic/games lawn. Dogs love the enclosed exercise paddock which is just across from the drive/large lawn.
Dog-friendly cottage
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome in Riccal Dale Cottage. An outdoor dog shower is available to wash those muddy paws after exploring the North Yorkshire countryside or a trip to the beaches of the Yorkshire coast; towels and shampoo are provided. Dogs love a run in the enclosed dog exercise paddock. Throws are provided for the sofa/armchair downstairs. Dogs are welcome on the upstairs landing but not in bedrooms.
