Large holiday cottage, perfect for families
Kirkdale is the largest of our holiday cottages and sleeps up to five people. The cottage has use of the garden outside the cottages, plus the large lawned area with picnic benches so you can relax, unwind and admire the unspoiled views of the Yorkshire countryside. The cottage also welcomes up to three well-behaved dogs downstairs. It is located on the doorstep to walks in the North York Moors National Park and the nearby Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are also within an hour drive of the East coast beaches at Whitby, Filey and Scarborough.
You can also get to the historic stately home Castle Howard as well as Flamingo Land and the North York Moors Railway within a twenty-minute drive.
Dog-friendly cottage
Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome downstairs in Kirkdale cottage. We also have facilities to keep your furry friend(s) happy. An outdoor dog shower is available to wash those muddy paws after exploring the North Yorkshire countryside or a trip to the beaches of the East coast, towels and shampoo are provided. Dogs also have access to our enclosed dog exercise paddock.
We request that all dogs remain downstairs to enable us to keep the cottages as hygienic as possible.
