A charming country cottage with stunning views, enclosed garden and historic features
Kirkdale is light and airy with far reaching views. Welcoming 5 guests (in 3 bedrooms) and 3 dogs Kirkdale is our largest cottage and now has its own enclosed garden direct from the door.
Feel cosy with a log burner and old beams, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the dining kitchen, and spread out on the sofas.
The cottage also has use of our dog paddocks, large lawned area with picnic benches, and a BBQ area so you can relax, unwind and admire the far reaching views of the North Yorkshire countryside.
Dog-friendly cottage
3 well-behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge. New for 2026: be amongst the first to sit out at the picnic bench in your own enclosed garden. We also have facilities to keep your furry friend(s) happy. An outdoor dog shower is available to wash those muddy paws after exploring the North Yorkshire countryside or coast; towels and shampoo are provided, plus sofa throws. Dogs also have access to our two enclosed dog exercise paddocks. There’s a picturesque bridleway from the end of the drive leading to the Ebor Way and super dog friendly Helmsley. Dogs are welcome on the upstairs landing but not in bedrooms.
